The Catholic Church in the United States is starting a National Eucharistic Revival this Sunday, June 19, which will last for the next two years. The purpose is to help renew the Church in our country by inviting all Catholics into a living relationship with Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. Through this the Church hopes to see a movement of Catholics across our country who are healed, converted, formed and set on fire to bring the eucharistic love of Jesus out to the world.
We will start this here at St. Mark by resuming daily Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 7 AM to 7:45 AM on Monday through Saturday and from 7:30 AM to 8:15 AM on Sunday. If you cannot make these times, please consider spending some time in the church in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament during the day or in the evening until 7 PM each day.
In addition we will start classes on the True Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and have other gatherings starting in August. Please watch the bulletin for more information and schedules. Please try to make time to learn more about the Eucharist, so you too can be set on fire to bring the eucharistic love of Jesus out to the world.
