Welcome to the world of ST. Marks the Evangelist Catholic Women’s Club,
even though we have been in existence for 9 months, we are 34 members strong. Our agenda is in order packed with business and religious programs for us all to take into our minds and hearts. We take time for laughter and enjoy talking all at the same time.

My officers are the best! I am a lucky President to have these ladies all helping me to keep our club activities, and growing in numbers from month to month. Our programs are well-planned activities including a wonderful visit from SR. Mary Jennifer. Order Adorer Missionary Sisters of the Poor.
Three of our members have started a fund drive to collect donations to help the Sisters provide food, clothing, school items, etc. These sweet ladies are Jo Ann Peterson, Terry Simone, and Margaret Bounds. Other programs for your enjoyment are being discussed such as handmade quilts, and the ladies that persevere to keep this beautiful hobby alive in our society. Also, flower planting and how to keep the flowers alive and a kind of “SHOW and TELL” from ladies who bring items from outside of the United States tell the stores history behind their knowledge and culture, of their collectibles, this interesting program will be held in November. I hope we all can attend. A new idea to try to incorporate the homebound to help with Rosary daily.
The 7 day Sister Apostolate a program for 7 women to pray daily for our priest. Since we have two priests we will need to come together and form a did 7 more ladies. More news to follow. Please call your President if you are interested. I would like to take this opportunity to also report that we also are involved with St. MARK THRIFT SHOP LOCATED ON GEORGIA AVE AND US 1.
Thank you to all who have previously for joined us in the social hall for coffee donuts and on occasions, we serve homemade bread baked with LOVE.
