Faithful St. Mark Parishioners,
This is a most trying time for all of us. Fr. Edwin and myself want you to know that we are praying for all of you. Although we are being vigilant with the social distancing , I want to assure you that we are here for you. The office is closed but the phone messages are being monitored throughout the day. If you are a registered Parishioner you can request Mass intentions by phone. We are sorry that we will not be able to offer this to non-registered people.
If you have internet access our website (stmarkftpierce.org) and the Sunday Mass will be recorded here by Fr. Edwin and myself. Also WTVX channel 34 has the Diocesan Mass on Sunday at 10:30 AM. and of course daily and Sunday on EWTN.
St. Alphonsus Liguori gave us this prayer for people who want but cannot receive Communion.
My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the blessed Sacrament.
I love you above all things ans I desire you with all my heart,
Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
I ask you to come spiritually into my heart.
I embrace you as if you are already in my heart
and unite myself to you completely.
Please do not let me ever be separated from you.
With prayers we will get through this together.
