We want to increase the number of Lectors that we have for weekday and weekend masses.
If we have a greater number of lectors, we will be able to have a schedule where you do not have to read as often. Jan Bals is our Head Lector, and she will meet with you either individually or as a small group for training. Please call the office and give us your name, phone number, and email address and we will pass the information along to Jan. Our greatest need right now is that we need more lectors for daily masses at 8 A.M. and 5:30 PM. We only have one regular lector for 5:30 PM mass and we need more, but 8 AM can also use a greater number. Daily lectors usually read during an assigned week, Monday to Friday at 8 AM, or Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 5:30 PM (Wednesday’s 5:30 mass is in Spanish). If we have more lectors, we could vary the schedule and have more readers each week.
