Changes Coming to St. Mark on July 1, 2023
Dear Parishioners,
Every year there are changes in the Diocese involving the reassignment of priests and this year we will be impacted. Fr. Antony will be moving to St. Peter’s Parish in Jupiter as a Parochial Vicar, and we will not be given a replacement. As you may or may not know, we have the responsibility for covering all sick calls for Lawnwood Hospital and nursing homes that are located within our parish boundaries, along with other ministry duties. Of course, we wish Fr. Antony the best in his new assignment and we will be scheduling a reception for him in June.
Please pray for an increase in vocations and an increase in the number of priests in the Diocese of Palm Beach daily. We have 54 parishes and missions and almost half only have one priest.
