The Truth about Scams
Scammers are everywhere and it can be overwhelming. Scammers lurk on your phones, your computer, your mail, and in social media. With sophisticated technology, scammers can make your email offers look like they are from well-known companies, even Medicare, and Social Security! Scammers can make your caller ID look like the call is coming from legitimate companies. Scammers want to pressure you. They present a problem that will scare you. They live on your fear. They want you to act immediately and pressure you to give them money by tapping into your accounts or by having you send them money or gift cards. WHAT ARE YOU TO DO? Please come to an hour scam discussion on April 1 at 12:30 PM in the church hall. Let’s discuss the most recent scams in Medicare, Social Security, and many more. Please call nurse Barb @ 772-359-8369 and leave a message or text. We need an RSVP by the week before the presentation. We had to cancel last month’s presentation for lack of RSVPs in a timely manner.
Peace, Nurse Barb
