The City of Fort Pierce, in partnership with the Treasure Coast Food Bank, will host the Annual Thanksgiving Giveaway on Saturday, November 19, 2022. We need about 30 volunteers to join us in this effort to help families in need to prepare for the holiday.
The free, drive-thru food distribution will be held at Percy Peek Gymnasium, 2902 Avenue D in Fort Pierce, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM or until supplies last. Our goal is to distribute 750 turkeys and holiday boxes, filled with the fixings for a family meal. The setup starts at 7 AM and the food distribution begins at 8 AM. Volunteers are asked to arrive no later than 7:30 AM.
