St. Mark’s Pathlights Retreat
Inviting all women of St. Mark’s Parish to attend the St. Marks Women’s Pathlights retreat. The retreat will take place starting the evening of Thursday, May 18 through Sunday, Morning May 21. The retreat will be led by Carol Hunsberger, parishioner of St Marks, wife of our esteemed Deacon Eric Hunsberger and the founder of Pathlights Ministries Retreats. Her passion, and calling is to help women recognize their talents and gifts, develop plans for their fulfillment and understand they are worthy of all their hopes, dreams and desires which God has placed in their hearts.
The cost of the retreat is 300.00 and covers private room accommodations, meals, and retreat materials. The retreat will take place in three beautiful historic homes downtown Stuart along the St. Lucie River. Space is limited to twelve women. The purpose of a Pathlights Ministries Retreat is to support women in developing a deeper relationship with Christ
through the discernment of spiritual gifts, desires, and purpose, with an emphasis on the treasure of sisterhood and faith -filled relationships. Who is this retreat for: wives, sisters, daughters, mothers, even grandmothers. Any woman who is searching for a new direction, a discernment of “their call” , a desire to understand their current purpose and rediscover their dreams. Or as Father Antony stated during a recent homily, “Someone who is ready to spend enough time to encounter God.”
Several months ago Father Bob challenged us to move from “KNOWING” Christ to “UNDERSTANDING Christ as His mission for us. This retreat will lead to a greater understanding of His will, help pave the path, lighting the way towards home, for yourself and others who are traveling this journey with you.
